We recently held HWEC Workshop for Kisanana Boys in Baringo County, Bishop Muge High School in Subukia, Boito high school, Tendano High School and Chichir High School.
The high school context in Kenya is a potential ground for nurturing young responsible citizens, it is also prone to ethnic prejudices passed down from families. WAPE realized it is high time the high school student in Kenya got to acknowledge the consequences of tribalism and chose to denounce it as early as now. Our hope is that these young students will form deep convictions on unity, forgiveness and reconciliation and choose to ‘in humility value others above themselves’
